Okuholela Mining Supplies and Services Main Goal is to deliver Quality Services, materials and final products in compliance with relevant design and manufacturing codes, as well as customer and project requirements specifications.
In order to assist customers at all levels to attain this goal, specific production control procedures are followed. These procedures are incorporated into the Quality Management System, which ensure regular report back and audit to relevant management levels.
Safety:
We believe that people are the greatest asset to our operations. Therefore, we endeavor to ensure that the Health and Safety of our employees and the
employees of our customers remain our primary concern during all operation. The following broad guidelines are used to manage the risk, which our employees and other, as well as our operations may potentially encounter.
- The requirements of the Occupational Health Safety Act are to be met as a minimum and preferably exceeded.
- A policy of Zero tolerance is applied to all deviations from safety rules and safety work procedures.
- On-going health and safety training programs are implemented involving all employees.
- Risky operations and working circumstances are made as safe as is reasonably practicable.
- Risk elimination where practical is preferred to risk management, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- The correct PPE is issued to employees and the use thereof is enforced.
- Each employee is responsible for a general Health and Safety in the workplace and is such open and frank discussions regarding Health and Safety issued are routinely held.
- An effective Occupational Health and Safety Management system is run in excess of the legal requirements and those of our customers and management.
